Spice Pumpkin Latte: Halloween Recipe for your Home



This Blessed Brew Chikka Pumpkin Latte is warm, spiced, and wonderfully soothing — perfect for an autumn afternoon and to celebrate Halloween!



Spiced Pumpkin Latte with Blessed Brew Chikka


Ingredients:


  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, or soy)

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin purée (homemade or tinned)

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice blend (or see below to make your own)

  • 1–2 tsp honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar (to taste)

  • 1–2 tbsp Blessed Brew Chikka

  • ½ cup hot water

  • Whipped cream or frothed milk, for topping (optional)

  • A pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, for garnish


Pumpkin Spice Blend (optional):


Mix the following if you don’t have pumpkin spice:

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

  • ¼ tsp ground cloves (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Brew the Chikka:

    • Stir well and set aside.


  2. Prepare the Pumpkin Mixture:

    • In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk, pumpkin purée, and pumpkin spice blend.

    • Heat the mixture, stirring frequently, until hot but not boiling.


  3. Sweeten to Taste:

    • Remove the saucepan from heat and add your preferred sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar).


  4. Combine and Froth:

    • Pour the brewed Chikka into your favourite mug, then pour in the pumpkin milk mixture.

    • Stir, or use a milk frother for a creamy, foamy finish.


  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Top with whipped cream or a little frothed milk if desired, and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for that final touch.
